Dr Liz Gordon, Managing Director
Liz has run Network Research since its inception. She spent a decade as a university academic, six years as a Member of Parliament, and since 2003 has run Network Research. Liz’s expertise is in project management, research approaches, evaluation, training and education and analysis. She is involved in education, social affairs and health issues as a researcher, and also has a strong interest in mental health and disability. As well as running the company, Liz is a columnist for various publications, a commentator, a speaker on a range of issues and a person involved at all levels of public sector governance. Liz is married and lives in Christchurch with Garth and three cats, and shared care of two young women with intellectual disabilities. She is currently completing her fourth university degree, and will graduate LLB at the end of 2007.

There are five other directors of Network Research: Dr Wendy Craig ( Waikato University ), Associate Professor Alison Gilmore , Dr Missy Morton and Dr Di Pearce (all University of Canterbury ) and Dr. Lesley MacGibbon ( Wellington ).
